Rancho Carrillo

Today we found a city park that had several trails running through/around it.  After a 4 mile trail, we visited the 'ranch' located at the center of the park.  It just so happen to be one of the homes of a favorite childhood idol of Ed's, Leo Carrillo.  Leo Carrillo played 'Pancho' in the Cisco Kid television show.  Ed used to watch the show with his pistols on and say 'call me Paanncchhhooo'.  Too cute.  A portion of Carrillo's old ranch is now a city park in Carlsbad.  Beautiful place with his favorite birds, peacocks, running all over the grounds.
